I saw this man on the Metro this past Monday, and asked him who the flowers were for. They were for his wife. They’ve been married for 47 years. Every Monday, he brings her home flowers after work. My heart died at that moment.

Christmas Tree Lighting

I was scheduled to close and leave at 6:30pm and the tree lighting ceremony in Union Square was scheduled at 6pm. With a little Jason persuasion, he was able to convince my manager to let me leave at 4pm. :)

The Macy’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony fell on the evening of Black Friday, so the city streets were packed with buyers and protesters. “Their BLACK is your RED”. It was pretty intense. Protesters were swingin’ their flags, bangin’ their drums, and lines of police officers in riot gear were ready to take down anyone who got in their way.


After climbing over walls and stepping on bushes, we got a pretty decent view of the event. I saw The Grinch, Mr. Santa Claus, listened to chamber choirs, and watched a champion ice skater skate on the ice rink located right in the middle of the ceremony.

10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1…!!!!! <3 I got jitters like it was New Years.

In no particular order

Hanging out after work with Jason and Neon. Sake shots all night. Finished about 4-5 Sapporo bottles. I faced the consequences trying to keep up with the boys. It was the beginning of a yacky night. Let’s just say I’m afraid I won’t be welcome at that place again. I also don’t see myself ever wearing those pearl earrings. A big thanks to the hospitality of Mr. Neon for letting us spend the night in Milpitas!

With Charmander on the way to Identity Fest…

…and somehow we transformed into mutants.

Can you tell that DJ Grhyme and I are on speaker boxes? Ending a fun night at the Heart Cafe throwing up some signs. Kinda looks like we’re trying to say, “Hitler, fuck you.”

The Rivera brothers after watching a musical at the Paramount theater. We were pretty much VIP at Great America’s Halloween Haunt since we were walking around with Joe the zombie. “Excuse me, coming through! Bringing along some VIP to the front of the line!” chyeaah.

It felt like we were the main target when walking around the park since I was the scared girl hiding behind her boyfriend the whole time. Being chased by scary monster zombies is the worst.

Mike’s birthday Telly! I knew this guy ever since the 6th grade. He grew up to be a very responsible and fun man! I remember throwing rocks at him and watching him hurt himself when trying to climb walls back in the day…




This was all I saw when I beat Mario2 on the Super Nintendo that Jason got for me. “WHAAAT? ALL THAT FOR A PICTURE OF MARIO SNEEPING, A THE END, AND A PUSH START?!”

Jason took this picture of some leftover nutella on my bottom lip at Sophie’s Crepes in SF. Mmm…our banana crepe with cookies and creme smothered with nutella was deelish. It was fun getting lost with him at Japan Town!

My chocolate lip reminded me of Baby Max’s innocent little face covered in chocolate.

Jason and I ended up walking through this trail in Golden Gate Park. It was the land of Miss Poison Ivy! In this photo, Poison Ivy happens to be reppin the SF 49ers in her hometown. Holla.

While stuck in traffic driving back home, we came across this billboard.
Jason: “Best billboard ever. I want to take that billboard home with me and hang it in my room so its mines to keep forever”.

And last but not least, a picture of 11:11 on 11/11/11. Spent this special day with my booboo :) I think this picture turned out blurry because we were hecka anticipating for 11:11 to come and when it finally hit I was hecka bouncing and clicking my phone to make sure I caught it on time.
